epicgame_, remembered by OGs as epicgames323, is FabricCraft's notorious spawn killer. In his own words, he joined to spawn kill as many players as possible and to troll and ragebait them, especially after making them lose all their items. He never built a base or played it like a normal SMP. He has been banned more than once, and once had to fight his way back in a trial by combat (epicgame_'s trial by combat).
Playstyle
He spent his early days around spawn, killing new players in whatever gear he had, such as unenchanted diamond armour. By his own account, he was one of the earliest ESP (cheat) users on the server, which let him pick fights against weak opponents. He also found trolling the whole server in chat very entertaining. According to ClaymoreMC he has killed thousands of players, geared ones included, and griefed bases.
February 2026: Thomalexi and the heads at 0,0
In early February, while at spawn in iron armour, he saw Thomalexi fighting someone in a cave. He drank an invisibility potion, waited for the fight to end, and killed the winner, Thomalexi, taking his maxed diamond armour and elytra (epicgame_'s ambush on Thomalexi). From then on spawn killing got much easier. He flew around spawn killing tens of new players a day, and placed his victims' heads at 0,0.
He and the moderator ScoobyDoorag trolled each other in chat, and Scooby put a massive bounty of elytras on him. epic still killed many geared players, including muenning, an OG FabricCraft YouTuber.
Ban and trial by combat
In late February his chat went too far. ScoobyDoorag muted him, then banned him after he broke the chat rules again. In early March ScoobyDoorag accepted his appeal, on one condition: a trial by combat, an event that also launched the new duels server. epic would duel a player chosen by community vote. If he won he would be unbanned; if he lost he could try again the next week. The first opponent voted in was garets of the Blood team. The event ran into server issues, with kits not resetting between rounds and problems with PvP being disabled. In the end epic was unbanned regardless of the result (epicgame_'s trial by combat).
Traps and duels (May – June 2026)
On 17 May 2026 he trapped the End spawn platform with respawn anchors, set up on an alt account so the kill messages wouldn't show, and killed the moderator BeShamed with it (The End platform anchor trap). On 12 June he ambushed crystalflippyyy on the Nether roof, causing a combat log, then crystalled him about ten minutes later when he logged back in. On 20 June they fought at spawn: flippy landed without a totem, and epic anchored him.
Other accounts
After ClaymoreMC's revenge on StayFreakyXyn, epic killed StayFreakyXyn twice more (ClaymoreMC's revenge on StayFreakyXyn). Oversa1ted remembers fighting “epic” while in Bluinn's team. 2x0x won on totem pops, but says that if the fight had gone on he would probably have died.
