epicgame_'s trial by combat

In late February 2026 epicgame_ (then epicgames323) was muted and then banned by moderator ScoobyDoorag. In early March Scooby accepted his appeal on one condition: a trial by combat, an event that also launched FabricCraft's new duels server. epic would duel a player chosen by community vote, and be unbanned if he won or try again the next week if he lost. The first opponent voted in was garets of the Blood team.

The match

The event ran into server issues: kits didn't reset between rounds, and there were problems with PvP being disabled. In the end epic was unbanned regardless of the result.
