Gilded [GD]

Gilded [GD], also called Gilded Grinders, is a FabricCraft guild with its own website, gildedgrinders.com. It describes itself as “a guild of dedicated players, bound by friendship and the endless pursuit of a greater world”, with the motto Build • Grind • Conquer. Ripjaw20 founded it on another server, JSMC, with _Paese and Maro, and later brought it to FabricCraft. Gilded led the End Project, which shattered every known End portal on 30 June 2026.

History

Founding and the Bamboo Base

On arrival at FabricCraft, Gilded “adopted” JIMMYo1 and other members. JIMMYo1, _Paese and Ripjaw built the first FabricCraft Gilded base, the Bamboo Base. It lasted about a month before Arko1102 griefed it (The Bamboo Base grief). Everyone first blamed Axdu (axdu / pvws). JIMMYo1 never really believed it, and arko later admitted it.

Mid Base and Endtopia

Gilded then moved to BearCrafter1's Mid Base, home to a resident JIMMYo1 jokingly calls “moist oily man” (real IGN unknown). It ran well. They began building Endtopia (unfinished), a design by the builder Krobar01 (“krobar1”), and got about 40% done before internal problems with Mid Base members ended the project. Mid Base was compromised, and Gilded griefed it completely themselves before YOO members started arriving.

The End Project

On 12 June 2026 Gilded and Wardens formed an alliance (The Convening of Gilded and Wardens). Gilded members then led the End Project, which broke every known End portal. In the Gilded Grinders website's words, “all 128 known portals were destroyed” by sunrise on 30 June (The End Project / The Night of Shattered Portals). On 1 September 2026, Gilded gathered 12 portal frames spread between players and created the first End portal at a base (The First Portal).

Later bases and wars

Gilded built another base far out while JIMMYo1 was away for a month. JIMMYo1 then accidentally leaked the coordinates of a new base, so the guild griefed it themselves and built another, where they live to this day. Its location is not published. In nmkx's account, he and AdvardNotBad raided and destroyed a GD base with a tunnel bore (The tunnel-bore raid on GD's base), and LOE's leader Mik later left for Gilded. Gilded fought on RBN's side in the war against YOO, losing _Paese, BearCrafter1 and PainOlaittt among others. Gilded also joined FC, CRY and oxau in the raid on YOO's base.
